350.org approached us to create animation and motion graphics for their Theory of Change video kicking off their #FossilFree campaign. With a fast approaching deadline and an open ended brief, we crafted visuals that evolved their current branding to connect to the human element of this issue.

"Kevin and Anna Grace at Botka Collective provided an excellent assignment and project experience. They listened attentively and took feedback constructively, giving great end results. From their site and reel, they offered a range of possible output styles and techniques, and we used this to define a unique style of our own for our films, quickly and effectively. Any one of these treatments would have made a great starting point for a commission. Overall, the professional and positively confident nature of their approach encouraged us to push as far as possible with the super-limited time we had available (about 2 weeks), and we're delighted with the results. We would happily recommend them to anyone and be confident in working with them again."

Challenge

Our client asked us to create visuals to act as B-roll to play on top of the interview footage they had captured.
Solution

Using their brand guide as a start, we created new visuals and characters to help communicate the content being presented.
Approach

We created various character rigs to fill the scenes with diversity. We also incorporated archive photos to complement the clean, colorful style of the characters.
